Hello and welcome! I’m Liz Tatum. A curious optimist, intellectual dreamer, and student of life. Professionally trained as a North Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor, I have been fascinated with wellness for more than 15 years.
I grew up in a Chicago suburb and received my B.A. of Psychology from the University of Iowa. During my studies, I worked as a teaching assistant for a Loss and Trauma course as well as a facilitator for a Human Sexuality course. I’ve lived in Arizona and Colorado, during which time I received my M.A. of Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I have trained in hospital settings, worked on staff at a wilderness treatment program, held a leadership role with a non-profit organization, and worked within rural and urban communities. Previous jobs also include the Mental Health Coordinator for a detention facility in Colorado. My vast array of experience aids in relating to and connecting with my clients.
Once voted as “Little Miss Sunshine” in high school, I maintain my smile today with a healthy diet and exercise. Valuing the holistic nature of wellness helps to center me and balance my lifestyle. My positive life path continues daily with gratitude and generosity as the benchmarks for approaching each day. Health, light, and optimism are the core values of my practice.
We all have strengths to share. I look forward to meeting you and learning more about you. It is never too late to tap into your best self. Working together, we can uncover your spark, discover your joy, and improve your life balance. Wellness awaits.
My WHY: "To create an environment of connection for others to explore their strengths and ignite their spark."
